Most 5G networks aren’t ready for conversational agentic AI: Ookla – Developing Telecoms

According to Ookla’s analysis, the majority of existing 5G networks lack the necessary infrastructure and capabilities to support conversational agentic AI applications. The findings suggest that telecommunications providers will need to make significant upgrades to their 5G deployments to accommodate the latency, bandwidth, and processing requirements demanded by advanced AI systems.
