LG Electronics, GS E&C, and U.S.-based GRC have joined efforts to establish industry standards for immersion cooling technology in AI data centers. The collaboration aims to create uniform specifications and best practices for this cooling method, which uses liquid to directly cool server components and improve energy efficiency. The standardization initiative is expected to facilitate broader adoption of immersion cooling across the rapidly expanding AI infrastructure sector.
